The Peasants are a High Energy Punk Band that began on the streets of Boston.
The songs are a blistering attack of sound, power and emotion. Fast, loud
rhythms, hard lyrics and searing guitar solos are the classic formula. Whether
the song is about drunk Frat Boys, soul-killing Corporations, broken love
affairs or pointless massacres every Peasant show is loud, fast and essential!
The Peasants started playing on the streets of Boston back in the late 1980s.
They learned how to play in subways, on street corners, in rain or snow, with
homeless alcoholics stumbling over them and trains roaring thru their sets. They
sold thousands of cassettes and discs direct to listeners from the guitar case.
When All The Rage (1990) came out, it was an underground Hit reaching 250
College Radio Stations across the United States.
Peasant shows are known for High Quality Songs and Great Musicianship. They
play the same aggressive set for 3 people as for 3,000. They know time is
